This month’s Paper Pumpkin kit designed by Stampin’ Up!’s CEO, Sara Douglass, is full of bright, bold colors with some fun watercolor techniques.
One of the techniques in this month’s kit is called watercolor resist. The two cards pictured above are examples of this technique. Watercolor resist entails coloring in between the embossed pattern with watercolor pencils and then using a watercolor brush to blend everything. The embossed lines “resist” the watercolor which leaves a beautiful pattern on the cardstock. It’s super simple and super FUN!

The acrylic flowers are so sparkly especially when you take a picture out in the sunlight. 🙂
